Abigail F Cowen is an American actress who started her career at age 13. She played the role of Annie Wilkes in Stephen King’s Misery (1990). She later starred in The Craft (1996) and The Faculty (1998). In 2001, she had a supporting role in the film The Patriot. Her other notable roles include the title character in the horror movie Scream 2 (2000), and the female lead in the comedy film The Other Guys (2010). She also portrayed the role of Dr. Elizabeth Weir in the science fiction series Stargate SG-1 (1997–2007). She also starred in the television show The Secret Circle (2011–2012).
