Kate McKinnon has become a household name thanks to her role as Hillary Clinton on Saturday Night Live. She also appeared nude in a recent issue of Playboy magazine. How did she get away with it? Kate McKinnon was born in New York City, and grew up in nearby Westchester County. She attended Bard College at Simon’s Rock before graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Her career began in theater, where she performed in several productions, including The Vagina Monologues. In 2005, she joined SNL, where she became known for playing characters such as Hillary Clinton, Kristen Wiig’s character Stefon, and Leslie Knope. She has since gone on to appear in films such as Ghostbusters, Spy, and Wonder Woman. In 2018, she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Lady Bird.
